In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Reflection by Saint John Paul II:

Thus the great gift of redemption – our being ‘brought forth’ to divine life – is a mighty work of God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It must be received by us in faith. It must be lived. It must be proclaimed.”

Thanksgiving for the Eucharist

For our paschal lamb, Christ, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast!

O Christ the Savior, we give You thanks for Your redeeming sacrifice, the only hope of men!

O Christ the Savior, we give You thanks for the eucharistic breaking of bread, which You instituted in order to really meet Your brothers, in the course of the centuries!

Christ the Savior, put into the hearts of the baptized the desire to offer themselves with You and to commit themselves for the salvation of their brothers!

You who are really present in the Blessed Sacrament, spread Your blessings abundantly on Your people…Amen.

St. John Paul II, pray for us.  Amen

Most holy servant of God, Pope St. John Paul II, we pray today for the youth and for World Youth Day.

Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee; and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

“We can be sure that our beloved pope is standing today at the window of the Father’s house, that sees us and blesses us. Yes, bless us, Holy Father. We entrust your dear soul to the Mother of God, your Mother, who guided you each day and who will guide you now to the glory of her Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”

We pray for our government leaders, that they will make just decisions and govern us in accordance with truth and the principles upon which our nation was founded.

We ask protection for those serving in the military and for our first responders. Bless them and their families as they sacrifice themselves to keep us safe.

We pray for our families. In a culture that seeks to destroy the morals and values upon which this country was founded, may our families be united in faith and charity.

PETITION: For the Strength and Unity of our Church, and for the Protection of the Family and our Nation.

Most holy St. John Paul II, you were a witness of Jesus Christ for the whole world. You lit the world on fire with your passion for Christ and the Church. Trusting in God’s infinite mercy and in the intercession of Mary, you have shown us the path to reach eternal communion with God. And we ask that you pray for us…

Pray for us, that we may share the faith to those in doubt.

St. John Paul II, we know that you are a powerful intercessor because of your great example of how to live the faith. Grant us, through your intercession, the grace to also happily glorify God in our lives.

“The more ready you are to give yourself to God and to others, the more you discover the authentic meaning of life.”

  1. “Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”

  2. “It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the whole world more human and more fraternal.”

  3. “The future is in your hearts and in your hands. God is entrusting to you the task, at once difficult and uplifting, of working with Him in the building of the civilization of love.”

  4. “The most beautiful and stirring adventure that can happen to you is the personal meeting with Jesus, who is the only one who gives real meaning to our lives.”

  5. “When a young man or woman recognizes that authentic love is a precious treasure, they are also enabled to live their sexuality in accordance with the divine plan, rejecting the false models which are, unfortunately, all too frequently publicized and very widespread.”

  6. “Jesus does not say ‘no’ to the authentic demands of the heart, but only a clear, loud ‘yes’ to life, to love, to freedom, to peace and to hope. With Him no goal is impossible and even a small act of generosity grows and can lead to change.”

  7. “Today Christ is asking each of you the same question: do you love Me? He is not asking you whether you know how to speak to crowds, whether you can direct an organization or manage an estate. He is asking you to love Him. All the rest will ensue.”

  8. “Dear friends, if you learn to discover Jesus in the Eucharist, you will also know how to discover Him in your brothers and sisters, particularly the very poor.”

  9. “Courageously follow the path of personal holiness and diligently nourish yourselves with the word of God and the Eucharist. The holier you are, the more you can contribute to building up the Church and society.”

Hail Mary…

Glory be…

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
